Trees in the Landscape

Boxfield Gallery, Stevenage Arts and Leisure Centre, Lytton Road, Stevenage SG1 1LZ.

This exhibition included a new series of paintings based on the oak trees in Hatfield House Park.

Alan Burgess has held numerous one-person exhibitions of his paintings and contributed to many mixed exhibitions. His work is in private collections in nine countries and in public collections in this country.

The exhibition of the Fifty Great British Trees has had successful showings at Westonbirt Arboretum, Wimpole Hall near Cambridge (see photograph, right) and Harlow Civic Centre. Other venues are being sought.
