There’ll be a new vision statement soon, to reflect our charity status. We’re also preparing a set of good practice commitments, to formalise our belief in corporate responsibility and equal opportunities. In the meantime, here’s a summary of the ideas we’re exploring.
We make research-based, democratically-devised documentary theatre that engages audiences in a meaningful way. We’re focused on artist development, allowing working arts professional space to develop new idea and skills, and supporting members of the public to find a personal, artistic voice. We believe in meaningful synthesis of professional work and community participation, not tokenism. And we are committed to artistic excellence.
